About me
About me
When I was a boy, I wanted to become a train driver on the Wengernalp mountain railway in the Bernese Oberland. Later, I really learned to drive trains – their green colour was a little bit darker and they ran on larger tracks: the trains of the Swiss Federal Railways SBB. This was my professional start as a young traction engineer in Bern in 1990.
After 27 exciting years at SBB in countless functions and projects, I decided in spring 2017 to provide my railway know-how to the sector as an independent entrepreneur.
Since more than a quarter of a century, I am happily married to my wife Franziska („Fränzi“); together, we have three children we are proud about.
